We Are

Stewart Land Group was founded by Gary Stewart, President, with the goal of creating a brokerage firm specializing in land sales, but yet providing unique skills that go beyond the customary services offered by straight real estate companies.


Mr. Stewart spent over 35 years of his career with a large national architectural-engineering consulting firm, and he often worked on land development projects. Unfortunately, many of the developers would often bring him properties that had many issues such as the inability to re-zone; lack of available utilities; poor soils; or portions of land in regulated floodplains. This would either cancel the project or greatly impact the return on the land investment

Stewart Land Group is organized to provide all the necessary and required real estate services, in addition to site analysis and land planning to determine the highest and best use of the property at the onset of the assignment. This clearly helps both the buyer and seller with understanding the disclosure of material facts related to a property and can assist in defining a realistic market value of the land. Mr. Stewart lives by the approach of “Boots on the Ground” to learn more about the details of the properties.
